About Us
Freedom Structures is a limited liability construction company providing economical multi-functional concrete structures, above ground or below ground, that serve as root cellars, storm shelters, and safe rooms. The mission is to provide superior affordable structures to customers with the ultimate goal of giving much needed peace of mind in an ever-changing volatile world. Freedom Structures operates mainly in the central Virginia region with plans on expanding into other regions on the east coast. The company has been organized with two members, Scott Vance and Christian Vance.
Scott Vance graduated from University of Louisiana in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction and currently lives in Rockville, Virginia. Thirty-five years of experience in the concrete industry and sixteen years as the owner of a construction company combined with decades of experience in managing large-scale concrete construction projects are key factors in providing optimum structures for clients. Past projects include multi-million dollar buildings such as hotels, condominiums, parking garages, office buildings, and stadiums. His extensive experience in the concrete industry gives Freedom Structures a distinct advantage for clients.
Christian Vance graduated from James Madison University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interactive Design and currently resides in Rockville, Virginia. While attending college, he opened Vance Services which provides construction and property management services. He used this platform to expand his entrepreneurial interests. While owner of Vance Services, the majority of his work was from repeat clients who were very satisfied with not only his pricing but the quality of work. His experience includes renovations, restorations, demolition, decks, concrete, along with many other construction needs. His pursuit of excellence in all that he does brings a unique quality to Freedom Structures not often found in the marketplace.
